Overview
In partnership with VCCP, Bernadette 2.0 was developed as a demo website to exhibit the creative portfolio of prominent clients like Cadbury, KIA, and Saga. The project involved refining UI/UX aspects to create an engaging user experience while maintaining the site’s role as a showcase of creative excellence.
Challenges
The main challenges revolved around optimizing the user interface and user experience across diverse devices and browsers. Understanding the intricate connections between design elements and functionality required deep analysis. Managing multiple test environments and aligning visual elements with Figma designs added complexity.
Solution & Strategy
A robust testing framework was implemented to overcome the challenges. Using the Contentful CMS, backend testing was conducted to verify data integrity and system workflows. Frontend testing addressed UI/UX consistency, ensuring alignment with the creative intent as defined in Figma designs. Test cases were extensively documented in Testpad, forming the basis of a detailed regression pack, and regression tests validated new builds.
Functional testing verified key features such as navigation, interactivity, and responsiveness, while non-functional tests assessed load handling and performance under various conditions. Tools like JIRA streamlined bug tracking and ticket management, fostering clear communication among developers, designers, and stakeholders. Each ticket was rigorously tested to meet creative and technical standards, ensuring a polished outcome.
Conclusion
Through diligent QA practices and collaboration, Bernadette 2.0 achieved its goal of demonstrating VCCP’s creative strengths. The QA process ensured a seamless, visually engaging, and robust platform, elevating the site’s role as a compelling showcase for potential clients. This project underscored a commitment to delivering superior quality assurance, enabling an optimal experience for users and stakeholders alike.
