Overview
In collaboration with VCCP, Bernadette 2.0 was developed as a demo website to showcase the creative portfolios of renowned clients such as Cadbury, KIA, easyJet and Saga. The project focused on enhancing UI/UX elements to ensure a captivating user experience while upholding the site’s role as a representation of creative excellence.
Challenges
The primary challenges involved optimizing the user interface and user experience across a variety of devices and browsers. A deep understanding of the relationships between design elements and functionality was necessary. Additionally, managing multiple test environments and ensuring the visual elements matched Figma designs added layers of complexity.
Solution & Strategy
To address these challenges, we implemented a comprehensive testing strategy using AI-powered tools to enhance both the speed and accuracy of our testing. Specifically, Applitools was used for visual testing, leveraging AI to detect UI discrepancies across different devices and browsers, ensuring the design remained consistent with Figma prototypes.
For performance testing, LoadNinja provided AI-powered traffic simulations, allowing us to assess the website’s performance under various load conditions and identify potential bottlenecks efficiently.
Backend testing was conducted using Contentful CMS, ensuring data integrity and workflow validation. Additionally, test cases were meticulously documented in Testpad and used to create detailed regression packs, which were monitored and managed through automated platforms.
Functional and non-functional tests were conducted to verify the site’s navigation, interactivity, and performance across different scenarios. Bug tracking and ticket management were streamlined using JIRA, enabling effective communication between developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Conclusion
By integrating AI-driven tools like Applitools and LoadNinja, we were able to optimize the QA process, ensuring that Bernadette 2.0 not only provided a seamless user experience but also maintained superior performance and visual consistency. This collaboration with VCCP showcased the benefits of AI in delivering high-quality, efficient testing.
