Overview
We provided QA services for the Clash of Clans live event platform, focusing on essential features such as the event details carousels, predictions, live event interactions, audience engagement monitoring, and user login. Our objective was to ensure seamless functionality across various browsers, devices, and locales, allowing players to fully engage with live events, track their predictions, and participate in audience interactions during the match. This included monitoring real-time audience engagement and ensuring reward points were distributed correctly during the event, along with live Event video banner.
Challenges
The project presented several challenges, particularly in ensuring seamless functionality across diverse devices, browsers, and locales. The event details carousel required extensive testing to ensure smooth navigation and consistent display across platforms. Another challenge was verifying the real-time engagement system, ensuring reward points were accurately distributed to users during live events based on their interactions. Synchronizing countdown timers with local time zones while maintaining accuracy across different regions also posed a challenge. Additionally, the representation of live Event video banner needed to be flawless, ensuring smooth transitions and proper alignment with the live content. The prediction feature required dynamic testing to ensure buttons updated correctly at each stage and that users could easily track their choices and results. Furthermore, the SCID login system had to be thoroughly tested to ensure a seamless user experience, particularly when integrating with reward tracking and event participation features.
Solution & Strategy
To maintain content accuracy, we ensured that the event details carousel displayed information consistently across all browsers and devices. The reward point system was validated in real-time to ensure users received points during live events based on their engagement. We also worked closely with developers to verify the accuracy of prediction flows and ensured that users could access event-specific prediction pages linked from the carousel. The representation of live Event video banner was tested for smooth transitions and visual alignment with the event content. Additionally, we conducted language selection testing across multiple screen sizes to ensure there were no display issues. The SCID login system was verified for smooth access, and the reward points were validated to ensure they updated correctly after user interactions.
